Terms & Conditions

 

1.	The Country Cottage Hotel will provisionally hold a booking for 14 days. After this period has elapsed the booking will be released (A provisional booking is a booking made by telephone or verbally with no deposit or written confirmation).
2.	To confirm a booking a non-refundable deposit of £750.00 must be paid also we would require a booking form to be completed and signed. Deposits will not be returned for any reason nor will they be transferred to another function.
3.	A full non-refundable pre-payment for all Wedding bookings is required 8 weeks in advance of the confirmed date. Should any extras be required after this date then these must be paid either on the day of the wedding or the next morning.
4.	Final numbers are required 14 days in advance of your booking. These numbers are the minimum numbers you will be billed for.
5.	Should you have to cancel your booking a charge will be made:

Notification period:

0-12 weeks before the confirmed date	100% of the estimate total
13-24 weeks before the confirmed date	50% of the estimated total
25 – 36 weeks before the confirmed date	25% of the estimated total
9 months plus	loss of deposit

We recommend that you consider taking out insurance to cover the unlikely event of cancellations.

6.	The booking organiser (signatory on the confirmation letter) is responsible for the conduct of their guests and will be liable for any damage, theft, or injury to property or persons caused by their guests whilst at the Country Cottage Hotel.
7.	The Country Cottage Hotel is not liable for loss or damage to property, however it is caused. The Country Cottage Hotel is not liable for death or personal injury (other than negligence of its employees) however caused.
8.	Parking is entirely at the owner’s risk.
9.	All functions to finish at agreed time of midnight.
10.	All prices quoted by The Country Cottage Hotel are subject to possible change. This includes bookings when deposits have been received.
11.	The management reserves the right to alter these conditions at any time.
12.	No Food Wine Beer Spirits or any form of refreshments may be consumed on Hotel premises unless supplied by the hotel. Anybody found consuming their own goods will be asked to leave the premises.
